Hispanic Heritage Month Assembly
There was lots of music, dancing, learning, and celebration of Hispanic culture at this year's Hispanic Heritage Month Assembly. There was a lot fun as the assembly ended with students, parents, and staff dancing together.

5th Grade Promotion will be on June 12th from 8:30-9:30.
Last Day Of School is June 12th. Dismissal will be at 1:00.
The school will be closed Monday May 26th in observance of Memorial Day. See everyone back on Tues. May 27th.
May 30th D.E.A.R - Drop Everything and Read together with family and friends.

June 4th - Tk -2 Award Assembly
June 5th - 3-5th Award Assembly
Friday, March 7th is D.E.A.R. - Drop Everything And Read. Please come and enjoy reading together from 8:10-8:30
We had the Black History Month Assembly. There was music, dances, Blues Band, and students speaking about people like Jackie Robinson, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and Katherine Johnson. It was a time of celebration.

12/12 - Winter Concert Choir - 5:30 - 6:30 in the cafeteria- enjoy the holiday spirit as the Smith Choir performs some holiday classics.
12/20 - Winter Holiday Sing Along 8:15-9:15 12/20 - Minimum Day Schedule - 1:00 PM dismissal
12/23 - 1/03 - Winter Break. We return on Jan. 6, 2025
